Watercraft liability policy covers boats and yachts for bodily injury and/or property damage for which an insured person becomes liable because of an accident involving insured property.

Depending on insurance carrier, this may include pollution liability coverage and wreckage removal.

You can also purchase hull coverage to help pay collision and comprehensive damage to your motor, trailer and permanent or portable equipment in the event of a covered accident. Other coverages available are medical payments for treatment of injuries that are incurred by you or others while operating or occupying your boat and uninsured or under-insured coverage.
